April 9: MMK men finish 33rd in the Virtual National Road Relays

The Men’s Virtual National Road Relays, a substitute for the cancelled National Road Relays, consisted of teams of twelve or more runners, each running a 5km time trial, using Strava to record and upload their times, and then combining the best 12 times to get an overall Team Time. The MMK men finished 33rd out of the 118 clubs who had full teams.

Fifteen MMK Men and three MMK women took part. The MMK total of 3:17:00 was completed by

Sam Winters was the quickest of the MMK men, but there were some pleasing performances by newcomers Jack Pocock and Sean Butler, and M20 Robert Hickman.

Three more men and three more women recorded times, with Alice Ritchie the best of the MMK women.
