In his second outing of the winter, Jack Meijer, demonstrated a significant return to form as he led the University of Wisconsin Cross Country team to victory in the Roy Griak Meeting, hosted around a golf course in St Paul, Minnesota. Jack ran with the lead pack for most of the way, finishing fifth on the 8km course in 24:18.5. With five in the top fourteen, Wisconsin won comfortably.
With big meetings to come, the emphasis at the moment is on training rather than racing.
