November 20-23: Milton Buzzards win in Lanzarote
A joint team of eight runners from, Marshall Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard, competed over four races in four days in Lanzarote, with the Men winning the team event, while the women’s team were second until the final race.
The first day was a 10km road race over a three-lap course. The second day was a 13km off-road run round a nearby volcano. The third day was a 5km two-lap beach run. The final day was a 21km run mainly over dirt tracks.
The men’s team won each of the four days, while the women finished third, second and second over the first three days. Unfortunately only two women competed in the final event.
