July 26: PBs galore at a wet Watford
23 MMK athletes competed in an open meeting at Watford on a wet Wednesday, with eleven achieving new personal bests.
In the 1500m, Matt Dicks went under four minutes for the first time. Harry Rose reduced his best by 2 seconds, while Max Newman improved his by more than 20 seconds. Jacque Smith and Morgan Bunn reduced their bests by approx. 2 seconds. There was a 7-second improvement for Orla Enright and a similar improvement for Ethan Paris.
In the 3000m, Millie Freeland reduced her own club record by 10 seconds with a stunning time which only three MMK women have ever bettered.
