September 24: Lara Bromilow is 8th woman in the London 10k
Just 24 hours after flying home from a holiday, Lara Bromilow was on the starting line for the London 10km road race. Having run 36:23 for a 10000m race on the track on 13 September she was hoping for a similar time on the roads. She duly delivered, finishing 8th woman in 36:27!
In the Men’s Race, Viv Parnell-Murphy (MS) finished 173rd in 36:20 to reduce his lifetime personal best by almost a minute, while Phillip Gazard (M55) finished 1176th in 44:19
