May 1: Eight more personal bests at the Watford Open Meeting
Twelve MMK athletes competed in the latest Open Meeting at Watford, with eight coming home with new personal bests.
Harvey Wood improved by almost seven seconds in the 1500m, Katie Webb by almost six seconds, and Ethan Paris by more than 3.5 seconds. Oliver Geary took almost three seconds off the best time she set 10 days earlier.
Jack Smith’s 3000m was an almost seven second improvement, but the biggest improver was Maddie Pearce who reduced her 3000m time by over 30 seconds!
