May 26: The MMK YDL UAG Team finishes second at Stantonbury
The MMK U20/U17 Team pipped co-host, Northampton AC, for second place by a single point as the MMK team made up a 15-point deficit with just the Women’s Steeplechase and the long relays to go. By the time of the final event, the mixed U20 4x400m relays, with A and B races held together, MMK were just one point behind. The A Teams finished two seconds apart with MMK just in front to tie the match. Northampton’s B team were ahead for most of the time, but Dylan Hughes, on the last leg, moved past with just 100m left, to secure second place.
Ed Barber reduced his M20 110m Hurdles Record by 0.1 seconds with a windy 14.39.
