Emma Beardmore, a second-claim member and Hammer Coach at Marshall Milton Keynes, entered three individual throwing events and the Throws Pentathlon at the World Masters’ Championships at Gothenberg, Sweden.
In the individual events she was fourth twice, and sixth. Redemption came in the Throws Pentathlon where her all-round throwing ability saw her claim the Silver Medal. Her point-score deficit in her one weak event, the Javelin, almost made the difference between Gold and Silver!
Congratulations to Emma
