Twenty three MMK runners competed in the first race of the East Midlands Grand Prix – a 10km race around the motor racing circuit at Silverstone. One a cool evening with little wind, twelve returned with new lifetime bests.
Just 24 hours after his short Marathon, Steve Tuttle was the first MMK runner to finish, with Sophia Campbell the first MMK woman (and the third senior female) to finish. Katie Webb was the second F20 while Dave Newens was the first M80.
