March 1: U15 Boys second and U11 Girls third in Sportshall Regional Final
Buckinghamshire sent six teams to the Sportshall Regional Final at Burgess Hill to compete against teams from six other counties.
The U15 Boys came very close to winning their match, but lost out to Surrey in a dip finish in the 4 x 2 Lap Relay, where a win would have given them the match. They must now wait and see if they qualify for the National Finals as the best second team. Bucks also had three individuals in the top five with Daniyal Hussain second, Daniel Southgate fourth and Alex Vout fifth.
The U15 Girls finished sixth, the U13 Boys fifth, the U13 Girls sixth and the U11 Boys fifth.
The U11 Girls were in a close four-way contest with Surrey, Kent and Berkshire, with 21 points covering the teams at the end. Bucks finished third, one point behind second and 11 points behind the winners.
