June 30: Jack Pocock second and Chad Lambert third in EMGP Milton Keynes 10k

368 runners competed in the East Midlands Grand Prix Milton Keynes 10km Road Race around Willen Lake on a cooler evening, with light rain just before the start.

Bedford’s Sam Winters moved clear early on but Jack Pocock and Chad Lambert were involved in a three-way battle for second place, with Jack outsprinting Chad to take the honours.

Higham Harriers’ Rachel Doherty was clear in the women’s race, with Daisy Wooller, 24th for Milton Keynes.

The men’s team of Jack, Chad, Gavin Wilcox and Jordan Pope won the men’s team event.

Dave Newens and Fi Han Bromilow won their age categories.
