D’mitri Varlack, after a three-year absence through injury, is back long-jumping again. The 2023 English Schools and England Athletics Long Jump Champion, with a best windy jump of 7.40m and a best legal jump of 7.36m, has been high jumping this season, but this is only his second long jump of 2026 – he jumped 6.42m at Hendon on July 19. His 6.69m jump at the BIG Final at Bedford represents a significant improvement.
