Nine MMK athletes competed in the latest Watford Open Meeting, with six gaining new personal bests. In the 800m, three athletes improved by around 1 second. In the 3000m two athletes improved by 8-10 seconds.
Leo Freeland competed in the BMC Gold Standard 1500m race, held in conjunction, and was rewarded with a 0.28 second improvement on his lifetime best set just two weeks ago. He moves to within 1.2 seconds of brother Zac’s club record.
