Leo Freeland, in his last outing before returning to the USA the next day to continue his studies, competed over a fast 5km road race at Colchester. In a star-studded field, he reduced his personal best by four seconds to establish a new club record, bettering the previous record he had previously held jointly with Sam Winters.
