Panos Ioannou and Clint Grabs were the only two MMK athletes to compete at the Stratford Speed Grand Prix on the 2012 Olympic Warm-up track. Both contested two rounds of the 100m. In the first round Panos set a new club M45 record with a windy 11.70, beating the 42-year-old record of 11.8 set by Harry Crane. Clint was 0.08 seconds shy of his personal best.
The pictures above show Jim Lawrence and Panos, with GB internationals Jeremiah Azu and Charlie Dobson. The bottom picture shows Panos in action, with Clint Grabs in the background (wearing his club vest).
