September 11-13: Gold for Emma Beardmore, two Silvers and a Bronze for Clint Grabs and Bronzes for Panos Ioannou and Bunt Scott at the British Masters Championships
On Day 1, Clint Grabs won an early medal in the M35 110mH, and Bunt Scott came close to a medal in one of the last events of the day, at the British Masters Championships in Derby. Eugene Swanepoel broke the Club M50 Javelin Record.
On Day 2, Clint earned a second silver medal in the 400m Hurdles, with a Club M35 Record, and a bronze in the Triple Jump. Panos Ioannou struggled to get close to his 100m club record and Paul Canning was just out of the medals in the M60 100m, with a time that puts him second on the Club M60 all-time rankings.
On Day 3, Emma Beardmore claimed the W35 Discus Gold, winning by 10m. Panos Ioannou was awarded a bronze medal in the M45 200m after finishing fourth behind an irishman in a time just 0.11 outside the Club M45 Record. Bunt Scott’s persistence paid off as he won bronze in the M75 Javelin.
