September 19: The Men are second and the Women third as MMK wins the overall trophy at the Eastern Masters’ Final at Stantonbury

After a hectic day of competition in which many athletes went above and beyond the call of duty – Steph Johnston did 12 events! – the men were just pipped by Bedford, finishing second, while the women just pipped the team from Corby/Northampton for the bronze medals. Overall, MMK just pipped Peterborough to win the Carl Baldwin Cup.

John Browne’s 100m run earned him the Male Track Athlete of the match trophy.

Congratulations to the Team Managers, Darren O’Leary and Maggie Allen, on a very successful day for Marshall Milton Keynes. The pictures above, by Roy Campbell, shows the winning overall team, and the Carl Baldwin cup, presented by Graeme Packman to Steph Johnston and Darren O’Leary.
