Four members of Marshall Milton Keynes were in Berlin over the weekend to take part in the Berlin Marathon.
Dan Webber was six minutes slower than he ran in Zurich in March, while his sister Wendy was seven minutes slower than her Zurich time. For Josh Knight, aiming to beat his marathon best of 2:50:05, set in Valencia 10 months ago, the wheels came off after 30km and he came home well down on his target time.
Sally Rose, completing her fourth marathon of 2026 (London in April in 3:18:07, Cape Town in May in 3:15:16 and Sydney in August in 3:16:27) improved her personal best by 2:22 to record 3:12:54 for 24th in her age group.
17930 finished the race.
