August 12: Christopher Tighe wins August Kanter

Thirty-six runners turned out on a hot summer’s evening for the latest round of the MMK Teardrop Lakes Kanter, with the temperature in the high 20s as the Handicap race started.

The next Kanter is on Tuesday 9 September.

The first three home were Christopher Tighe, ahead of newcomer Benedikt Hansen and Sue Torrance.

The very warm conditions meant personal bests were hard to come by, The fastest three male times were by Alex Brent (14:16), Steve Tuttle (14:23) and Tim Inchley (15:02). The fastest three female times were by Elsa Wasdell (18:33), her mum, Jane Lee (19:40) and Danielle Sims (20:21).
