Millie Freeland, representing the University of New Mexico, ran 10000m on the track at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships in Clovis, California. Her first track race at this distance saw her take the Club F20 record in 37:49.12 and go fourth on the Club Senior all-time rankings.
Millie suffered in the heat over the final 3000m and was treated for dehydration at the end of the race.
